Our inaugural Best of Magnetic Island Photography Showcase was held over three days between September 30th and October 2nd 2023 at the beautiful Aqua in Arcadia cafe. There were over 300 photos on exhibit from over 70 entrants plus photos taken by committee members Bruce Hobby, Gary Nolan, Kaspa Blewett and Lawrence Scheele.

First and Runner Up prizes were awarded in 10 competition categories in addition to a People's Choice Award and an overall winner judged by well-known Australian photographer Steve Parish. All prize-winning photos are featured in the reel below.

The Showcase was a great success with an estimated 700 people coming to look at the exhibit. It would not have been possible without our wonderful sponsors with particular thanks to our major sponsors - Best of Magnetic and Aqua in Arcadia!
